Description: The irrigation channel that carved Burlingame Canyon (also called Little Grand Canyon) near Lowden, WA depicts the layers of the past lake that Glacial Lake Missoula's ice dam created when it broke and rushed across Idaho and Washington and got built up behind Wallula Gap creating a large lake over much of SE Washington.
